Hey!
Since my previous two posts have been reviews, I though I would switch it up a bit and do a tag! I did a bit of research and came across the 'This or That Beauty Tag'. I thought it had a nice variety of questions and was a bit of fun, so I thought I'd give it a go. Traditionally, this tag is usually done by Beauty Gurus on Youtube, but since I don't have a Youtube account, I figured it would be just as good on a blog. So here goes - enjoy!

foundation or concealer - Concealer
neutral or color eye shadow - Neutral
pressed or loose eye shadows - Pressed

Long or short - Short (I play guitar so personally long nails can be quite inconvenient! But I think they can look really great on others!)

flip flops or sandals - Flippers! ;)
scarves or hats - Scarves
studs or dangly earrings - Studs
necklaces or bracelets - Bracelets
heels or flats - Flats
cowboy boots or riding boots - Riding Boots
jacket or hoodie - Both! I prefer jackets for during the day but hoodies are great for comfy evenings and night times, also for winter!
forever 21 or charlotte russe - Forever 21
abercombie or Hollister - Hollister
saks 5th or nordstrom - I don't think we have either in the UK?
hair:
curly or straight - Curly

bobby pins or butterfly clips - Bobby Pins
hair spray or gel - Hair Spray
long or short - Long
light or dark - Light
side sweep bangs or full bangs - Side sweep
up or down - Both! I love to do both with my hair, just whatever I feel like that day really!
random:
Rain or shine -Shine, of course!
Summer or winter - I love both for different reasons! Summer for the sunshine, long days, holidays, the fashion. But I love Winter for Christmas, cosy days, snow, hot drinks, and also the fashion! It's gonna have to be both! (again) ;)
Fall or spring - Love both (surprise surprise) But probably Spring!
Chocolate or vanilla - I love eating chocolate but I love the smell of vanilla!
East coast or west coast - Not been to either :( But I would love to visit both! Probably East coast in the Winter and West coast in the summer!
So thats all the questions! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and let me know your answers in the comments! I enjoyed doing this, so hopefully there will be a few more tags from me in the future!
Bye for now! x

Product Review: e.l.f. Complete Coverage Concealer
Hello Everyone!
Since yesterday's post reviewed a product that was on the pricier side, I decided to talk to you today about a product that is more affordable. The e.l.f. Complete Coverage Concealer. Before I start the review, I thought it would be nice to address those of you who are oblivious to the brand e.l.f. . Basically, it's a super affordable brand with an amazing range of products. If there's a makeup product you want, it's pretty much guaranteed that e.l.f. will have it. They have three ranges: The essential line (priced at £1.50), the studio line (priced at £3.75), and the mineral line (prices range, but mostly about £6.00) I have tried products from both the essential line and the studio line, and whilst the studio goodies are a tad more expensive, they are definitely worth it. The packaging especially. It looks more professional, and is sturdier. The only real bummer about this brand is that it is only available to UK residents via the website. As far as I know, no stores in the UK stock e.l.f (goodness knows why, if anyone knows the reason behind this sorcery, do let me know;) ) Oh! Not to forget - e.l.f. stands for Eyes, Lips, Face.
Link for the UK website here: http://eyeslipsface.co.uk/
And the US: http://www.eyeslipsface.com/
Anyway... Back on track. Let the reviewing commence!
Firstly, the e.l.f Complete Coverage Concealer is from the studio line, costing only a mere £3.75, which, for 4 different shades of concealer is a pretty darn good bargain, if you ask me!
One thing I love about the e.l.f Complete Coverage Concealer, is the fact it comes in a palette form, with 4 different shades. I wear the colour 'light' which includes two yellow toned concealers (perfect for correcting redness) and two pink toned concealers (great for fixing any discolouration under the eyes, or dark circles). I find it blends best using your fingers, as they are warm and blend the product evenly. It does come with a small brush... But let's face it, who actually uses those? Obviously, it's not a great little brushy, and I lost mine whilst on the go a few weeks back... Oops! That's another thing, this handy little palette is great to throw in your bag, for little touch ups here and there. The compact does have a little mirror, it's nothing special, but it does the trick.
I never really like slating products too much, but there is one little thing that bothers me about this product. Don't get me wrong, I love it, and I think it covers things fairly well (light to medium coverage I would say) but I really dislike the finish of it. I find it to be quite powdery looking on the skin, and can look cakey quite quickly, so I wouldn't recommend layering too much of this onto one spot/pimple or under the eyes. So for this reason, I tend not to use this concealer on a day to day basis with my daily makeup routine, but I use it for on the go touch ups during the day, when my skin is oilier. That's about the only negative for this product me thinks.
Overall, I would probably rate this a 3.5/5. Which isn't bad. If you are looking for a concealer similar to this, but is a 5/5 in my opinion... Then I would opt for the MAC Studio Finish concealer. It's a-maz-inggg! (let me know if you would like a separate review!)
If you have any further queries about this handy little palette, then let me know in the comments and I'll be sure to get back to you! Thanks for reading! Byeeee!

Product Review: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink
Hello Everyone!
After a sneaky trip to the MAC counter a few weeks back, I returned home with my very first Mineralize Skinfinish (Popularly abbreviated to MSF) in the shade 'Porcelain Pink'. Feeling rather pleased with my purchase, I decided it was only right to write up a review.
I have been testing this product out for a few weeks now, and I must admit, I have fallen in love. This product is gorgeous, and makes the cheekbones glow healthily in all weathers. I think this will be a summer must-have this year for all beauty lovers like me,as the sun reflects this MSF beautifully.
Porcelain Pink gives a beautiful golden-pink glow to the cheekbones, with a fair amount of shimmer. It is very multi-purpose, and looks great when applied to the inner-corner/tearduct area of the eye, the browbone, and obviously, the cheekbones.
Unless you like glitter, I wouldn't recommend applying this product with a fan brush. For the first two or three days of using this product, I decided to use a fan brush (a MAC 205, to be precise) and found it had a poor colour pay off and made my cheekbones look glittery and cheap. Before passing the product off as a bad job, I decided to give it another whirl, but this time, using a blush brush. I have two favourites for applying this MSF - both by e.l.f. The Complexion Brush, and the Blush Brush, both from the studio line. At a cost of only £3.75 each, you really cannot go wrong with e.l.f. brushes (let me know if you want a review!) Anyway, when Porcelain Pink is applied with these brushes, it gives a more pink toned shimmer to the cheeks, with slight golden undertones. I came to the conclusion that the MAC 205 brush has bristles that picked up only the glitter particles from the product, rather than any of the actual colour. For this reason, I have decided to avoid using the fan brush for this particular highlighter.
Overall, I am really enjoying this product. I feel like my skin looks a lot healthier and more radiant when wearing this. Also, it compliments any colour of blusher, which I feel is an important feature of a good quality highlighter. And despite the name 'Porcelain Pink' this product is not a bright and pigmented pink that could be used as a blusher. It is definitely a highlighter, and can't really be used as a blusher, so don't be fooled by the word 'pink'. I would 100% recommend this product, and if the pricey cost of £21.50 doesn't phase you too much, definitely give this a try.
