Zoeva Brushes | The Eye Set

After months of noticing the brand of Zoeva making frequent appeances within the beauty community, I decided it was about time I tried a few out for myself. A few weeks back, when I was in the process of deep ponder regarding my Christmas wish-list, I decided to pop a Zoeva brush set on there. At the time, I was pretty satisfied with the collection of face brushes I owned, and therefore decided the appropiate thing to do would be to have a browse at the Zoeva eye brushes. I came across the 'Eye Kit' and couldn't resist the urge to note it down on my wish-list. As you may have guessed, Santa was awfully generous this year and kindly left me a Zoeva Eye Kit under the Christmas Tree. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been trialling these brushes and I must say, I am very, very impressed. I have fallen head-over-heels in love with these brushes, and genuinely have been recommending them to anyone and everyone. Not only is the set of 7 multi-tasking brushes ideal for beginners, but each brush in the set veryyy closely resembles the well-known and well-loved MAC brushes. In fact, one of the brushes in the kit is such an amazing dupe for the MAC 217 that it is virtually indistinguisable from the MAC one. More on that later. (I will also be doing a full comparison post between the two some time soon).

So, here are the brushes included in the set.

228 Crease | Ideal for blending eyeshadow through the crease/blending out colour. The round and fluffy shape of the brush make any blending job an easy task.

227 Soft Definer | Great for applying eyeshadow to the lid/in the crease. Great dupe for the MAC 217.

231 Petit Crease | Perfect for precise work in the crease. The pointed tip allows easy control over the product, and gives a defined finish.

230 Pencil | Works a dream if precision is your thing. Great for work in the outer corner, and under the eyes.

234 Smokey Shader | Just your typical, flat shader brush. Very similar to MAC's flat shader brush. This brush is great for packing on colour, and the bristles are of a perfect density.

317 Wing Liner | I love this brush for filling in my brows, but this handy little angled brush would also work rather well for creating a perfect winged liner look.

319 Fine Liner | A handy little tool for creating the perfect line of eyeliner.

I am beyond impressed with these brushes, and am over the moon that I have discovered Zoeva, as I feel they have a lot to offer with their fabulous brushes. In my opinion, these brushes are just as good a quality, if not better, as MAC brushes, but for a fraction of the price. I a, truly in love with these brushes and cannot sing their praises enough. If you are looking for a few new good quality eyeshadow brushes - Zoeva is your destination.

For the mere price of €33 (which converts to around £27.24), this brush set is of a rather amazing value. For seven, high quality eyeshadow brushes this is a pretty darn good value. However, if you wish to only purchase certain brushes from the set, then you can do that too. Each brushes prices at around €6 each (£4.95), which is again, amazing value for money. Here are all the links you shall be needing. Take a good browse of the Zoeva website whilst you're there - I'm very intrigued by their face brushes and also a few of their palettes...
