Lush-tastic Friday #2 | Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic

Bonjour lovelies! It's Friday again, which can only mean one thing. Its once again time for me to share and review yet another Lush bath product. Again, it is a festive one, as I picked up a truck load of them in the sale, and am eager to share as many of them as I can with you all - despite the fact it is now January. Seven days have passed by since the last, and I am rearing and ready to go for the next edition of the Lush-tastic Friday feature. 

Today, I will be sharing with you a bath ballistic that is very true to its name. I'm sure you have all heard of/seen the Golden Wonder bath ballisitc floating around the interweb some time during the festive season. It literally is what it says - a golden wonder! I was left a little mesmerised by this bath ballistic, and felt as though I should give a round of applause as soon as it finished fizzing. Is that weird? Who cares - this bath ballistic is one of my faves, and puts on a pretty astounding show as it fills your bath with all kinds of blues and greens. Not to mention the rather fulfilling aroma of tangy orange that it distriputes throughout your bathroom. It is said to smell like Bucks Fizz, and I have to say, it does smell very similar to the drink. 

As you can see in the picture, the gold sparkle that coats the ballistic can be a little messy - but hey, who doesn't love a bit of glitter action!?

Once dropped into the water, this rather large ballistic sheds its outer layer of gold shimmer, dispersing it amongst the bath. It immeditately begins to fizz, producing an aray of blues and greens, as well as patches of white foam, which is formed as a reult of the pretty white bow on the top of the ballistic. I was also surprised to see a few spots of pink disperse from the bath bomb, however they soon disappeared. The golden-yellow tones amongst the bath are soon masked by a deep green colour, leaving a calming, turquoise bath ready to be enjoyed.  

I had much fun watching this bath bomb turn my bath water into an explosion of colour and festivity. It smelt amazing and was an enjoyable bath to relax in. If you cam still get your hands on one or two of these ballistics, I would higly recommend it!
