A Winter's Day at the... Beach?

Winter may be drawing to a close, but the chilly weather and icy winds than Winter entails aren't quite ready to depart just yet. So, obviously, when its blowing a gail and temperatures are lingering around the lower end of the thermometer, I decide to go to the beach. Thats right; the beach. The destination of sunshine, ice creams and sandcastles. The place that is normally swamped with tourists and sun-seekers was more so a place of peace and serenity today, with merely a few people in sight. It was wonderful. The sea was breath-taking; the waves crashing and toppling on top of one another. It felt really strange to walk on sand and watch the waves in the month of February - a month when you would normally never dream of visiting the beach. But, it was good fun nonetheless, and I even managed to snap a few photos to share with you all. So, here we go!

I am a huge lover of the sea - it's just so mystifying and intriguing. I'm one of those people who could sit and watch the sea all day long - I just love it. Throwing a little seaside visit into our family outing was lovely today, along with a chippy lunch and a quick walk along the pier. Ah, don't you just love Sunday's?

Hopefully you enjoyed this little post, despite the fact it wasn't a full-blown beauty babble as normal. Thanks for reading & speak soon!
