My Skincare Essentials for Travelling & Long Journies

As of Tuesday I will be setting off for a sneaky trip to the Cologne Christmas Markets in Germany, and will therefore be enduring a long journey before hand. Since we are travelling by coach, from England to Germany, it is clear the journey won't be a '10 minutes down the road' job. I have no doubt the drive down will be a good giggle, but it is important I care for my skin whilst travelling, to avoid any majorly unwelcome breakouts on my face. (Especially since it is likely my friends & I will be eating a fair amount of rubbish during the journey, and the entire trip, for that matter)! As I was selecting my skincare staples for travelling, I decided to pull out my camera and take a few snaps to share with you here on my blog. Hopefully, this post will help you out if you are pondering over what skincare wonders you should take along with you on any upcoming journies. Or, if not, it will hopefully be nice to be a little nosey and maybe discover some new skincare goodies to try out in general. Without further ado, let's cut the rambling and dive straight in to it.

The line up of skincare saviours!

1) L'Oreal Micellar Solution

Cleansing the skin is an essential, particularly one that is quick, simple & effective. Obviously, the skincare essentials you bring along with you on the journey must be practical and easy to use, as running water isn't readily available on most forms of transportation. Swiping this all over your face on a cotton pad is definitely the way forward as far as cleansing-on-the-go goes. For a more detailed review, see my review of it here.

2) Lush Tea Tree Water

Great for toning & soothing the skin - and also a lovely little pick-me-up when the journey gets longsome. One simple step to refreshed & revitalised skin, in one handy spray bottle.

3) Nivea Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream

My all time favourite moisturiser. Just all round fabulousness in a tube. For a full, in depth review, see my post here.

4) Clinique Under Eye Serum

Sleeping on a coach can be tough, and lack of sleep can result in gloomy looking eyes. This cute little roller-ball serum works great to counteract dark circles, and soothes the under eye area fabulously.

So there you have it. A quick little sneak peak into my favourite skincare products for travelling. Hopefully this post helped you piece together a little skincare regime for next time you endure a long journey. Let me know your skincare staples for travelling in the comments down below!
