Rimmel | Winter Lips on a Budget

I have always been a lover of Rimmel, and have tried & adored a wide range of their products. But somehow, despite the abundancy of makeup Rimmel have to offer, I always find myself swatching (and purchasing) their lip products. For me, I find all of their lippys have the most fabulous formulas; whether it be lipsticks, lip glosses, lip stains - you name it. I also find they have some particularly wonderful Winter shades, and today, I decided to share with you my 3 favourite Winter lip products of the moment, from Rimmel. Two of them belong to the Kate Moss Matte lipstick line, with the other belonging to the ever-so-famous Apocalips line. So, here we go!

1 | Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick - Shade 111 Kiss of Life

(For a full, in-depth review of this lipstick, check out my post here.)

For all beauty enthusiasts, a red lip is a major staple for the festive season. But, along with the costs of Christmas, it isn't always ideal to be spending big bucks on a high end lipstick. Therefore, it's always exciting (and practical) to find a high quality lipstick from the drugstore, instead. I simply adore this 'traditional red' lipstick, and would highly recommend it as a staple in everyone's collection. It's moisturising formula and creamy texture make it a lovely little lippy for the colder months.

2 | Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick - Shade 107

This particular shade is probably one of the more popluar ones from the line, and is quite famous within the beauty community. Again, it is red, but a little darker and vampier than shade 111. It has slight purple undertones, therefore giving a bolder lip. It has an identical texture to shade 111, and by the way, both of the mentioned lipsticks smell & taste amazing.

3 | Rimmel Apocalips - Eclipse

The Rimmel Apocalips are pretty nifty little creations if you ask me. They apply as a lip gloss, but dry to give the effect of a lipstick. I guess they are essentially lip stains, yet they are so incredibly moisturising. Basically, everything you would want in a lip product - the Rimmel Apocalips have it all. Not to mention their amazing lasting power. This shade in particular is slightly darker than the Kate Moss 107 lipstick, therefore is the darkest shade of the three mentioned today. I love it for those super chilly days, when I'm all wrapped up andy cosy; a bold lip gives such a warm yet bold effect. I would describe it as a more purply shade, with slight red undertones. I love it!

So there you have it. Three of my favourite Rimmel lip products for Winter. Let me know if you have tried any of them, or if you fancy giving any of them a try! Thank you for reading!
