Benefit They're Real Mascara | Review

Looking for a mascara that lengthens, thickens, and volumises your lashes? Then look no further - Benefit's They're Real Mascara is at your service!

We all love to have long & luscious lashes, and I'm sure all you beauty lovers out there will agree that finding the perfect mascara can be quite the task. There are so many out there on the beauty market, and it can take a long while of buying and trying before you find the perfect one. But hey, isn't that what I'm here for? To recommend the great stuff to you, and share with you my beauty advise? Therefore, I shall tell you know, that the Benefit They're Real Mascara is somewhat rather fabulous. I understand that different products work differently for other people, but this mascara has certainly served me well; and if the rather grand price tag on this beauty staple doesn't phase you too much, then I would recommend giving this mascara a shot. I understand £19.50 is quite extortionate for a mascara, so if anybody knows of any dupes for this mascara, then please do enlighten us all in the comments below!

Here are some shots of this mascara on my lashes:

The first shot is a little freaky - I promise my eyes aren't that beady in real life! Haha!

Now, I will admit, my lashes are naturally on the lengthy side, but this mascara still lengthens and volumises them beyond belief. It also gives them a very black and thick look, resulting in a lot of inquisitive people questioning the 'real-or-fake' aspect of my lashes. I often get asked if I am wearing false lashes, so I think it's safe to say this mascara does it's job more than adequately.

The mascara wand is a plastic bristles one, which isn't to everybody's liking, I know. In fact, before I had tried this mascara, I often dismissed mascaras with plastic wands - who knows why. However, the wand on the mascara is amazing. It grips each lash individually, distributing the product evenly over each and every little eyelash. It has a little mini applicator on the end, shaped as a ball. I often use this little end piece to grip the lashes at the very inner and outer corners of my lash line.

Overall, I highly recommend this mascara, and would advise everyone to try this at some point. Thank you for reading!
