Weekend Nails | Essie's Fear & Desire

Something you may or may not know about me is that I love orange; particularly when it comes to makeup. And by makeup I mean blushers, lipsticks, nail polish etc - not orange foundation... I tend to avoid that one for obvious reasons. Anyway, when pondering over which colour I would paint my nails this weekend, I caught sight of my beloved Essie Nail Polish in Fear & Desire, hidden deep within my rather excessive collection of nail polishes. I haven't worn this polish in a long time, and I must admit, I had forgotten all about the true love I have for this colour. I decided it had suffered from enough neglection over the past few months, and decided it was time for this lovely polish to be back in the spotlight.

Some may say this is a summery colour, however I think orange can work well in Autumn, too. I love how opaque the colour looks on the nails, and the lasting power of this polish is amazing. It didn't chip at all throughout the time it was on my nails, which was only a mere two days, as unfortunately school are very 'anti-nail polish'. Bummer. However, In the past when I have worn this polish, I have found it to last several (4-5) days without chipping, so it definitely does have a good formula.

Sorry this was such a short post, but I thought it might be a nice idea to regularly update you about what nail polishes I am loving at the moment, after all - who doesn't love a good nail polish. Thank you guys for reading! Bye!

❤❤❤
