My Favourite Eyeshadow | MAC Woodwinked

Some may be expecting this to be a completely unbiased review contemplating the good and bad points of this eyeshadow. However, the title kind of speaks for itself that this is going to be more of a product rave. Hence the word 'favourite'. So, I wouldn't necessarily consider this a review; just a little babble about how much I adore this eyeshadow. 

Just a quick note that Woodwinked looks rather different in the pan than it does when applied to the lid, who knows why.

Woodwinked. Even the name makes me grin uncontrollably. The easiest eyeshadow to apply, blend and make look good. I would say that 90% of the time, I am wearing this eyeshadow on my lids. I simply love it! Having blue eyes, I like to make them pop and wear eyeshadows with golden undertones a lot of the time. Woodwinked is a perfect example of this, with it's beautiful golden brown shimmeriness (is that even a word?) making my eyes pop. 

Sorry about the horrible skin on my thumb, everybody gets the odd little snag, ey?

Another wonderful thing about this eyeshadow is its ability to look great on its own. I usually blend this all over my lid and through my crease. I then blend it out and it seems to change colour slightly, giving a sort of ombre effect. This then makes it look like I have spent hours blending numerous eyeshadows through my crease and used copious amounts of brushes to blend. When in reality, its just a quick two minute applying and blending job. Fabulous. Just what all of us beauty lovers want, quick, easy-to-use products that give you that 'done by a professional' kind of look.

I honestly love this eyeshadow so so much. I will definitely continue to buy this eyeshadow for as long as my purse can open.
